Halifax, N. S.

Dear Sir:

Mr. Rogers has asked me to acknowledge receipt of your letter of March 20th, and to ask you to continue with your work until the 20th of June, unless notified to the contrary, when you will again confer with the Commission. The Commission hopes that the work will be ready for publication by that date.
We enclose herewith cheque for Three Hundred Dollars on account, fee for professional services rendered as compiler of the medical history of the disaster.
