Prof. A. MacMechan

Dear Sir:
Re your memorandum in connection with the publication of a History of the Disaster.

This matter was considered by the Commission this morning and it was decided that we would not publish a pamphlet at the present time, but that it would be desirable to have Volume One of the work issued for the Fall trade, if possible. Will you kindly see if satisfactory arrangements can be made with the Publishers that you have already been in touch with.

With respect to the records of various Departments of the work that may be closing up, these will be kept in the Commission's Office and will be available for your use at any time.

Yours truly,

Secretary
