Dear Sir:
At a meeting of the Managing Committee held some weeks ago it was decided that Dr. Archibald MacMechan should be authorized t compile materials for the comprehensive report or history of the disaster with its consequences, and that he should be allowed One Hundred and Fifty Dollars a month to cover necessary expenses in connection therewith. we are enclosing herewith accounts certified by us for Dr. MacMechan, but would ask you to make arrangements in the future to handle this direct on his authorization.
