From 'St. Paul's Church Parish Magazine'
January and February, 1918.
The Director of Records desires the names of all the volunteer workers who carried on the work of the St. Paul's Hospital and Emergency Shelter for so long a period. It is practically impossible to recall the names of everyone, and we would gladly be reminded of any omitted.

In connection with the Hospital the following Doctors gave valuable assistance:
Dr. C. Colmer, R.N., Dr. Coffin, Dr. Levine, Dr. Lamb, Dr. Stewart, Dr. White, Dr. Gibbons, Dr. Adams and Dr. Nicolle. Dr. Beckwith was the Dental Surgeon, Dr. Mackintosh, Medical Inspector.
Among the Nurses who worked at the Hospital were:
Miss Irene Munroe, Nurse-in-Charge, who made the arrangements and served from the beginning; Miss Carol, Miss Naugle, Miss Perry, Miss Mackesey, Mrs. Creswell, Sister Fraser, Sister Nurse, Miss Weatherton, Miss Gardiner, Miss O'Brien, Miss Ryan, Miss Merson, Mrs. Cameron, Miss Wood, Miss Jardine, Mrs. Castello, Miss Jordan, Miss McKay, Miss McDonald.
Those who served as V.A.D.'s, were:
Miss L. S. Brown, Miss Stairs, Miss Grant and Miss Keddy.
The excellent work of Mrs. Armitage will always be remembered. She was a veritable "House Mother" from the beginning and personally looked after hundreds of meals.
Among those who gave great assistance were:

There were also a large number of men among the helpers, some of them being:

Those assisting in the Information Bureau and Office were:
Miss Elsie Campbell, Miss Eileen Rowland, Miss Eva O'Brien, Miss Helen Rowland, Miss G. Hay.
The Clothing Department was under the direction of Mrs. Silver.
R. Armitage, J. Conrad, R. Tremaine and W. Lane were the Cadets on duty, the first two being attached from the beginning.
Bombadier Jones was attached as Medical Orderly. He and Corpl. H. Williams were with the station for a long period and gave help in many directions.
The Rev. W. T. Townsend of Trinity Church was an indefatigable worker in all departments.

The Station was organized and administered by the St. Paul's staff, Archdeacon Armitage, The Evangelist W. J. Patton, and the Rev. S. H. Prince.
They wish to acknowledge every courtesy from the Medical, Transportation, Food, Fuel and Shelter Committees, and from the City Board of Health, as well as to record their grateful thanks to the scores of faithful workers from many churches.
