Dec. 19. 1919.

RELIEF WORK IN DARTMOUTH

Information furnished by A. C. Johnson, Chairman Relief Committee.

The first four days were "higgledgy-piggledy" but by Monday the C Committees had been organized under one head and installed in Greenvale
School, where the work is being carried on. All Departments are in the one building. The Dartmouth Committee is working in perfect harmony with the Halifax Relief. $1090.00 was received from outside sources and handed over to the Dartmouth Central Executive in Halifax.

A temporary hospital was at the Nova Scotia Hospital for the Insane, 'Mount Hope'. The Oil Works officials provided a temporary hospital and shelter for 150 people. The owners of the Parker House have given their permission for it to be employed as an infectious Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Rosenberg have given their house as a surgical Hospital to be opened not later than Saturday, Dec. 22nd.
