Going along Gottingen "everybody's hall stove was on the front door-step". Walked along Bloomfield to Kempt Road and out Kempt Road. Passed the Cotton Factory fire. Went out Kempt Road as far as the Railway Bridge. A countryman in an express-waggon overtook her there and she drove to Bedford with him.
