PERSONAL NARRATIVE
Rev. G. A. Carson, of the Presbyterian Witness.
Was in his office at the time of the explosion and ran out to get assistance for Mr. R. M. Hattie, who was injured about the head. Could find nothing until he got down to near the Halifax Hotel. Was "afraid of cutting his feet", on the heaps of glass in the street. The first chemist he applied to for help was cut himself.
Communicated to Director personally in tram, December 17th, 1917.
