45 Hester Street, Dartmouth, MacLaughlan album 2 number 165

Widow Mary (Higgins) Wright and her young son lived at 45 Hester Street (now 36 Hester Street), Dartmouth.  In her published first-person account of the Explosion, Mary's daughter, Gertrude (Wright) Pettipas, described the house as being "almost a total ruin."
