W.G. MacLaughlan photographic albums of buildings damaged by the Halifax Explosion

William Beckwith, retired shipwright and north-end ferry operator, and his wife Eliza lived at 75 Hester Street (now 60 Hester Street), Dartmouth. After the Explosion, they returned to this address, and lived in a new house built by the Halifax Relief Commission.
