The information in this book was supported by Marlean’s daughter, Pat Rhodenizer, who researched land deeds going back to the original Crown Land Grants of the mid 1800s. Photos, home ownership from the 1800s to the present, and family stories have been compiled to create this 264-page history of the area.

Though overturned, this publication called attention to the relationships that happen between the police and minority citizens (Marshall being Mi'Kmaq) and what needs to be done in order to protect citizens from unlawful treatment and wrongful incarceration.
