Petitioner served during the whole of the American War in that part of the 84th Regt in actual service in South Carolina and has a large family. Has 100 acres of land on the East River of Pictou, on which he cannot make a living due to the overflowing of a brook. Requests a grant of land sufficient to enable him to support his family in comfort.
