The great freshet in the year 1782 shifted the channel of the Bay between Onslow and Truro, and a flat of land 50 acres has appeared, and the memorialist requests a licence to the land for himself and his heirs.
"I hereby approve as above, and consent to the occupation, by the petitioner, until further order." Wentworth.
