There is a debt of 70 pounds on the unfinished Anglican church, and they request a grant of land of 60 to 70 acres contiguous to the town common. Rev. Mr. Brudenell obtained a licence to 45 acres; but left the country and is not likely to return, and they believe if it belonged to the church it would render considerable income.
