from St. Andrew's Day next Ensuing & that after ye Expiration of ye Sd four Years to revert to the Said Giroar, He ye Sd Dupuis, during ye Sd Term of four Years being oblidged to Maintain & Support ye Dykes & ffences, & to deliver up ye Sd Land to ye Sd Giroar in good order, & Tenantable Condition
 


     Order'd that the Sd Dupuis & Giroar pay Each one Moity of Cost
 


     N. B * That this Parngraph is to be Read where this mark is placed on the other side Vizt It was agreed, that as his Adverse party was not Come & as he the said Paul Boudrot had the first time neglected to bring his papers, That the Decision of their Dispute should be Deferr'd 'till the first day of December or Sooner if they the party's See Cause

     At a Council held by Order of His Honour the Lieut Governor of the Province At his own House in his Majesty's Garrison of Annapolis Royal On Thursday the 1st July 1736

     His Honour Aquainted the Board that Mr, Shirreff having his Majesty’s leave to go to Brittain, & as he had Nominated Otho Hamilton Esqr to do his duty as Secretary in his Absence, He therefore desired their Opinion
 
Otho Hamilton Esq Appointed to Act as Secretary in Mr. Shirreff's Absence


     The Board having taken the same into consideratn they agreed that Otho Hamilton Esqr was a very Proper person to Act as Secretary in Mr Shirreffs Absence
 


     Ordered that Mr Shirreff committ an Inventory of the Papers, Books &ca before his Departure to Otho Hamilton Esqr he being willing to Act & to Accept of the same & then Adjourn'd till to Morrow at Nine a Clock
