Michael Richards alias Le Fund, Prudent Robichaux Jun.e, and Charles Boudroit three french men the two first belonging to this river, the other .to Cape Breton who brought the Newes of the Disaster at Cansau by the French and Indians were sent for in before the board, and examined upon Oath - relating thereto.

Jeannice Souhare, Martin de Molve belonging to Cap.t Philisbert d' Habilene Comd.r of a french ship at Nirichshaw, Jannice de Candos belonging to Nicholas Petitpas fishing at Petit de gratz, Martin Dixapare belonging to Martin de la borde fishing at Petit degratz, Francois Pitrel belonging to John Harenbourg fishing at the said place. Five french Prisoners who were taken arobbing the English at Cansoe, were sent for in before the board and Examined; they all declared they were commanded by their masters to do what they did. [19]
