Advice of the Board, having Laid a Petition of Said Robichau's before the Board (as upon file) for Consideration
 


     The Said Petition being Read It is the Oppinion of the Board, upon Acco.t of his Age, having been so long in Irons, that upon the Offers and promises he hath made in hís Said Petition, that upon his finding Good and Sufficient Security for his future good behaviour, he be Sett at Liberty

     Then the Governor Acquainted the Board that Margaret Douglass had made Complaint to him that her husband Alexander Douglass had left her Destitute without any manner of Allowance to Support her and her child Praying that Sam.ll Douglass her husband's Brother may be Obliged to pay her as formerly The [136] The Board Considering the Same Ordered that Sam.ll Douglass Should Appear and give his Reasons why he did not pay her the Allowance, his Brother had formerly Order'd him to pay for the Support of her and the Child

     The Said Question being put to him he Made Answer, that he had no orders from his Brother to pay her Any More, And that he had none of his Brothers Effects in his possession and that having Settled & made up Acco.ts with his .Brother Showed the Same wherein his Said Brother Alex ander was indebted to him the Sum of £ 4.17.10 and that therefore he Could not pay her Any longer having no manner of Authority, or Effects as aforesaid
 


     At a Council held at the Honourable L.t Governour John Doucetts house in his Majestys Garrison of Annapolis Royall on Munday the 3dof June 1725

     The Honourable L.t Governor Acquainted the Board That had Rec.d Sev.1 Papers from James and Charles Pobomcoups, Amongst which there is a Will of Mary Diminon Dame de Charnezé, as also a Memorial form Ens.n James Campbell
