     At a Comittee of Council held by Order of ye Honble Lt Govr Armstrong Esqr At Major Henry Cope's House within his Majesty's Garrison of Annapolis Royall On Tuesday the 7th January 1734/5

     The Secretary Represented to the Board that His Honour being Informed that the ffrench had risen their Wood to a very Extravagant price; he had therefore Desired that the Board would Consider & think upon Such methods as may Effectually put a Stop to Such an Inconveniency
 


     Which being considered ye Board Agreed & were of Opinion, that it would be the Easiest & most Acceptable method for His Honr to Discourse with the Deputies thereupon; & to prevail with them if possible, to settle the price of the Wood &ca, with the Inhabitants within their Respective districts & then to be laid before the Govr & Council

     The Secy Aquainted the Board that he was Directed by His Honr the Lt Govr of the Province to lay Severall papers before them for their perusuall, vizt a Copy of the Rt Honble The Lords Commissrs for Trade & plantations Report upon ye Petition of Mrs Agatha Campbell; Copy of a Minute of His Majts most Honble Privy Council upon a Representation of John Hart Esqr Praying a Grant with the Seal of
 



Copy of the Board of Trades Report Concerning M.rs Campbells Affairs & his Majestys Order for Granting land to Jno. Hart Esq.
