These are to Certify that Stephen Goldsmith
last Autumn was attacked with an Intermittent
Fever which continued three months and then
left him; since which he has laboured under
an irregular Chronic Complaint, being of opinion
that a Change of Climate may do him service
I have recommended him a Voyage to a
          warmer atmosphere.
          William Allmon
          Surgeon to the
          Royal Artillery
Halifax March 1st 1783
