We are of opinion the within agreement for the location of James Davis, a Refugee black therein named is sufficient to justify His Excellency the administrator of the Government to cause to be paid to the said Negro Six months provisions in the first instance and to continue to [? pay] them quarterly the allowance authorized by Government so long as he remains in occupation of the land herein [asigned] him by Capt. Bazalgette.

Capt. Bazalgette to David Acres -- Deed
(There is a discrepancy in the name of the person being deeded this property. The actual written deed indicates the refugee's name to be James Davis, whereas, the Transcribe instructions show Daniel Acres. What would be the cover of the deed also names Daniel Acres rather than James Davis.)
