Tracing of a petroglyph that conveys a message

Date: 1888

Petroglyph tracings M: Nondescript and unclassified #20. 5 negatives and 6 positives. Marion Robertson's Rock Drawings of the Micmac Indians interpret this petroglyph "from records of the Abnaki Indians [as a message that] means 'I am goung fishing to the westward (a fish and the sticks in the ground pointing to the west). I shall be gone two days (two sticks standing across those stuck in the ground)'."
