Chipman Family Papers - Planters of Cornwallis

Crane was born in Lebanon, Connecticut, in 1750 and died in Grand Pré, Nova Scotia, in 1820. He served as a Justice of the Peace, Member of the House of Assembly in Nova Scotia, justice of Inferior Court of Common Pleas, and colonel of militia.
