Paper-covered book, 42 pp., showing the names and addresses of taxpayers, their occupations, and the amount of county and poor taxes owed; in semi-alphabetical order; located in the Gideon White fonds, MG1, Vol. 957, No. 1517.

• 'Assessment for the year 1787.' Large paper-covered book, 25 pp., showing the names and addresses of taxpayers, their occupations, and the amount of county and poor taxes owed; in semi-alphabetical order; located in the Gideon White fonds, MG1, Vol. 957, No. 1518.

• Outlying communities include Annapolis Road, Barrys Point, Blue Island, Cape Negro, Cape Negro Island, Grays Island, Green Harbour, Gunning Cove, Harts (Hartz) Point, Jordan River, Jordan River Road, Jordan Road, Lake George, McNutts Island, Mount Hope, Point Carleton, Port Le Bear (Port Hebert), Ragged Islands, Roseway River, Round Bay, Shelburne and Wrights Road.
