Cape Breton Land Petitions 1787-1843

Petition to Kempt: Petitioners are natives of Scotland. Donald Campbell, age 45, is married and has eight children. He asks a grant of land laid off for him on the west side of the S.W. Branch of the Mabou. John McInnes, age 26, single, asks a lot on the west side of the S.E. Branch of Mabou for which he obtained a ticket in 1826. Allan Cameron, age 26, single, asks a lot adjoining McInnes. Approved.
