Petitioners are natives of Great Britain and Ireland. Martin Cameron is 24 years old, single. John Kennedy, 24, is married and has one child. James Doyle is 32, married. Cameron asks a lot on the eastern side of the S.W. Branch of the Marguerite for which a warrant was issued to Michael Harrington in 1825. Harrington is not a resident of Cape Breton, neither has he had the lot surveyed. In 1818, the same lot was surveyed for Samuel Campbell, who made no improvements. Kennedy asks a lot at the north end of Lake Ainslie, at Loch Baun. Doyle asks a lot on the north side of Mabou Harbour. Note: Cameron cannot have the lot he applies for as it has so recently been assigned by warrant. Others are approved. Martin X Cameron, John X Kennedy, and James X Doyle.
