Watson, William – 1815 – Cape Breton

Petition to Swayne: Petitioner, a native of Scotland, has lived in Cape Breton for thirty years. He has a wife and seven children. He has "been employed as Master on His Majesty's Government Schooner of this island for some time". He has land on the N.W. Arm, but finds it very poor quality. He asks a lot on the N.W. side of Baddeck River. Note: not recommended.
