Cape Breton Land Petitions 1787-1843

Petition to Nepean: Petitioner, age 34, a native of Scotland, has resided in Judique the past four years. He has a wife and two children. He received a lot four years before, but it was of such poor quality that he sold it for a trifle to a neighbour. He now asks a lot at Googooma on the Bras d'Or Lake. Note: complied with.
