Petition to Despard: Petitioner, in behalf of the Presbyterians of Sydney County, asks land to accommodate a minister. Under the administration of Lt. Gov. Macarmick a lot was approved by council, on the road leading from North-West Arm to Sydney, but no farther steps were taken. Note: "When they have secured a clergyman, the land formerly alloted to that purpose will be secured to them."
