Sir
I received your letter by Captain Crouse
with forty pairs of Blankets to be distributed at His
Excellencys request among the most destitute of the Indians
Of the Island, and I beg you to assure His Excellency
that I have shall ful much pleasure in charging into
effect his humane intentions respecting these poor
people who are much in need of every article of clothing
