Your Excellency will take their [illegible] situation into consideration
& recommend to the Legislature at [an] early period
in their present session to place at your Excellency's disposal
a small sum from the Provincial Treasury to enable your
Excellency to procure some blankets & clothing for your
Petitioners who will, as in duty bound, always pray [for?]

I hereby certify that I believe the facts set
forth in the forgoing petition to be true, and
that I am well acquainted with several of the
Petitioners and know them to be [sober men]
