This oblique-angled aerial photograph taken in Halifax's bicentenary year provides an outstanding view across the southern half of the city: Fleming Park (then outside the city proper), the Memorial or more commonly-known 'Dingle' Tower, the North West Arm, parts of Halifax's residential South End, and the Studley Campus of Dalhousie University, just beginning to expand in the post-World War II boom years.
