Seeing Yarmouth

In August 1894, Governor General Lord and Lady Aberdeen arrived for a visit to Yarmouth. They were paraded along Main Street to the Grand Hotel, headed by the Yarmouth Brass Band and Yarmouth Garrison Artillery. This image shows the Grand Hotel decorated for the occasion and some of the crowd awaiting the guests of honour.
