"Sundry matters is wanting here in the Fishing way but Cash is very scarse, cou'd you Supply with Lines Hooks Cordage Sailcloth....Twine &c and take Fish in the Fall you might Dispose of Considerable, I most Wonder you have not been Down here before this, shou'd you come down this way soon think you might find it worth your coming...Salt is very Scarce here, cou'd you engage a quantity to be paid for in Fish?"
