319. Zeph. Kingsley to Gideon White, in receipt of letters. Asks him to inquire of every vessel from England for his goods and to send them by Capt. Dalzell. Encloses copy of what he wrote to Col. Powell about White. Overleaf: extract of Kingsley's letter to Col. Powell, relating White's services as a loyalist from 1774 to the end of the war, and stating the writer's conviction that White should have half-pay and that he is "truly worthy" of Powell's "care and friendship". Holograph.
