260. 1. Paul Maylor to Gideon White, relative to military and business matters. ''…'twas but two days Past that Governor Campbell made a regular return of the officers in the first & second Battalion of the Duke of Cumberland's Regiment to our Treasury & the Cursed Disputes between our Present, & Late Ministry, now Prevents Same being laid before the house of Comons [sic], in order to ye officers being put upon the half Pay List you will Please to Send me Regularly the Proper Vouchers to Produce at the War Office...''
