258. Jas. Cary to Gideon White. Encloses something he wants published in the Nova Scotia Gazette. Sends greetings to Lt.-Gov. Fanning and Col. Isaac Allen, and says ''tell Col. Allen if you Please that Governor Campbell has set our Negroes free in such a Manner that he has great Part of them to himself. I have a Record of his setting one of mine at liberty.'' Holograph.
