1408. [Draft of] Rev. T. H. White's reply to Wm. T. Wishart's letter of 10th February. ''…if the previous steps which the law requires in order to the establishment of a combined Grammar & Common school, be taken by the inhabitants, &…if Mr. Allan should be the person selected by them thro their Trustees, to take charge of such school, then He may calculate on being examined prior to his obtaining a license.''
