1369. J. D. W. White to his brother Cornelius, in receipt of letter asking for certain goods. Their nephew Cornelius is on his way to Shelburne. "Fairbanks & Stewart had a warm set-too in the house yesterday in the debate on the petition of citizens respecting the Civil list Fairbanks opposed it and was ready to meet the proposal of Government-Stewart, as Fairbanks told him, Advocated the popular side for popularity's sake & it was high time Macbeth was dead..."
