Black Forsyth & Co held a Mortgage upon - he paid us £1000, for our debt & Mortgage on St. Peters, Black Forsyth & Co £2700 Curry. We would advise you to endeavour to Strike a Bargain with him for your land - Tho: we have not the least doubt that by & by it would sell to advantage - that is provided they cut a Canal or make a Rail Road through St. Peters -" They paid £300 to charter a vessel to sail to the West Indies and back. Holograph.
