1277. Nathaniel W. White to his father. His prospects for advancement in Nova Scotia are good. "In my character as Registrar I am thrown every day or two into tête à tête conversations with Sir Peregrine upon whom it is my duty to call with the Chancery documents for his signature, & find him particularly disposed to serve me. He is a perfect gentleman of the old school & a man of amiable though reserved manners." Holograph.
