"…I must say I shall be glad when the parties are over, for I have had but very little time to read in the books you were so kind to leave me, I have got half through the Iliad (which I am much interested in) and have read some pieces in Cowper...Papa desired me to ask you if you met with any new publications to send them to him, for you know reading is his pleasantest companion..."
