MG 4 vol. 18 is a compilation including elements of the Township Books, as well as some records of the Methodist Church, Baptist Church, and the Anglican Parish of St. John in Kings County. Some of these records do not appear in the Township Books proper.
MG 4 Vol 18a is the Township Book, in 2 volumes. The second volume is a copy of the first, and then a continuation of the records from 1825 to 1874.
