Notes on Language

While exploring the resource, you should remain aware that titles, categories, and language that were supplied by the record creators, and records themselves, are preserved, as is common in archival practice. The records are a reflection of the time in which they were created, and use the language of that time. Contemporary users may find some of the language outdated or problematic.
