Draft of address of Assembly to Lieu-Governor, stating that a sum has been granted for relief of negroes; that Assembly is unwilling to encourage bringing settlers whose habits etc. are uncertain into province. Already many negroes in N.S. Asks that Lieu-Governor will "endeavour to prohibit the bringing any more of these people into this colony." !!
