Gentlemen

I have had the honour of submitting to the consideration of the Lieutenant Governor your Report upon the Petition of James Miller for remuneration in consequence of having been blown off to the West Indies when employed by you to proceed to Sable Island on the Public Service; & in consequence of your Report and the very peculiar case of this Man, His Excellency has commanded me to express his opinion that you should pay
