We the Subscribers employ'd by Government on Sable Island do hereby empower Edward Wallace of Halifax Esquire to deposit in our names in the Savings Bank now established at Halifax such sums of money as the rule of that Institution will allow out of the several notes of Hand in our possession and we further request that said Edward Wallace to deposit on the first Monday in the next year such sums as we may be entitled to receive for the period ending 31st December next
