Cabbage, carrots and beets, we shall have none this year, but I hoe to have a crop of turnips. Cranberries I think there will be none, some of the sheep are dying, By showing those things to the Commissioner you will be

Letter discusses supplies provided to the Establishment, and horses sent off the Island in return. Darby describes the 'backward' season they are having on the Island, which may cause some difficulty in providing enough hay for the Island livestock. He describes the success of some crops and the failure of others.
