Michael Wallace Esqr Boston July 5 1831

Dear Sir
I herewith enclose you my power of Atty authorizing you to receive
on my behalf whatever may be coming to me from the effects of
Ship Courser lost on Sable Island on board of which I was at the
time a Seaman. Whatever sum you may receive you will please remit to the
Mr Wm Whiting of this City for my acct and oblige your obt (obedient) svt(servant)
