429 Bostson May 24 1831

Sir
As I hold the Powers of Attorney of Peter Norris and Edward Thompson to receive all monies due or coming to them for wages & services which serving on board the [word?] Ship [word?] which vessel was cast away on Sable Island on the Eighteenth day of October last. I made application to the owners of said Vessel who informed me that my application must be made to you as the proceeds of the Cargo & said [word?] held by you officially and that the accts due to the aforementioned Seamen would be paid by you out of said proceeds
I therefore have to request of you to inform me if you will pay the said Claims


Norris [Nouig] and Thompson served as seaman on board the Courser, lost at Sable Island in October of 1830.
