the performance of the above voyage every expedition in the said William Crook ^proper shall be used.
Thirdly That the said William Crook obliges himself that the said Schooner shall, during the said voyage, be kept staunch, strong and in every respect fit to perform the service required of her.
Fourthly In consideration of the above agreement being faithfully performed on his part, the said Commissioners oblige themselves to find at their own expence, a Pilot for the Isle of Sable, to put on board an additional anchor & cable, to be only used in the case of need, at the Isle of Sable, and returned immediately on the Schooner's arrival at Halifax, to pay one half of the port charges at Spanish River, an d to relieve, or pay the light money at Halifax, and to pay for the hire of the said schooner Kitty at the rate of Forty eight pounds per month during the time she may be employed in the aforesaid service. Minutes of agreement entered into between William Forsyth, on behalf of himself and the other Commissioners appointed by Government for effecting a settlement on the Isle of Sable, and William Crook, owner and Master of the Schooner Kitty of La Have.
