Minutes of agreement entered into between William Forsyth in behalf of himself & the other Commissioners appointed by Government, for effecting a settlement on the Isle of Sable, and William Crook Owner & master of Schooner Kitty of La Have about Forty seven Tons burden.
First The said William Crook engages, that the said Schooner Kitty shall be completely fitted and ready, on the Twenty first instant, to receive on board such a cargo as well on deck as in the hold, as the said Commissioners shall think proper to ship and she capable to receive and after being loaded to proceed to the Isle of Sable, at any time when directed by the said Commissioners where the said cargo is to be landed.
Second That the said Schooner shall proceed from the Island of Sable for Spanish River, Cape Breton and there take on board a compleat lading of Coals with which she is to proceed to this port, where the voyage is to terminate - and during the
